What the absolute fuck is the purpose of a mod that makes your car un-streetable. What "problems" is this helping prevent, and why can't I dick punch whoever come up with this idea.
I bought a 70mm Ktuned throttle body off a guy and he said he deleted the idle air control valve with a ktuner blocker plate. He said it lowers the chances of having "problems" with any build. Cool, w/e I'll look into it.
Anyway I install this shit, configure Kpro to disable the valve, set idle to 900, and then turn on the car to a whopping 400rpm idle. Fine again, it'll just take longer to warm up, no big deal.
I take the RSX around the block and every time I come to a stop and drop the car into neutral the RPMs drop so low the car chokes and dies. Every time...
Anyway rant over, I ordered a new OEM idle valve and I'm gonna bury this blocker plate in the sewage pond.
