Considering buying an 06 RSX Base

So my coworker is selling her 2006 Acura RSX Base. I always loved the engine on these cars unfortunately this one is an auto transmission. I might be able to get it four around $1k. Main possible issue is the Power Steering pump but I'm hoping it's just the O ring that I've been reading about. Never had a Honda power steering pump fail on me and I've had Honda/Acura with over 160k miles on it. Car has pretty low miles I think (134k). Timing belt already has been replaced and body wise it's good. I will have to replace the driver side seat as the leather has a tear and replace the steering wheel. I'm thinking recondition this vehicle and maybe resell for around $3.5k if that's doable. What do you guys think.

Either buy it and keep it or fix it up to sell. These cars have a timing chain, not a timing belt, so perhaps it was the serpentine belt that was changed. You won't find a used leather seat in good condition, so maybe an auto upholstery shop can replace the damaged leather. Replacement leather for front and back is about $900 from leatherseats.com. The power steering issue could be a leak, the o-ring, or the reservoir. Drive it and see what you think.
