Power steering possibly?

I just had my timing belt replaced a couple of weeks ago. Now there's a whine in the front passenger side of the engine, increasing when I turn the steering wheel left or right. Could the belt be loose or torqued? Or is the pump going bad? No leaking fluids. I have a 2006 Acura TL. Thanks!!

It sounds like it may be your power steering O-rings. Very easy to replace and plenty of videos of it. Mine was whining when turning left to right, bought 2 O rings and fixed my problem.

Nice succinct answer. I got mine free at the local Honda dealer. Ready to do mine a second time (145K miles)
