for some reason the driver 1 remote isn't linked anymore. does anyone know how to re-link the remote without taking it to the dealer? thanks guys.

 

Press and hold lock & unlock together for a few seconds...that'll do it!

I thought mine came unlinked, and then i remembered that I put the Driver 2 key in the center console for some reason. I took the Driver 2 key out of proximity of the car and now I see "Welcome Driver 1" on the Multi-Display. BTW: Is there anyway to change that message to say something else?

 

you cannot make it say something else unless you want to have a programmer edit the chips inside the board to display it which would be $$$$

 

Driver 2 key is in the house, i tried holding lock and unlock together and it didn't do anything.

 

I thought you meant the memory function was unlinked...if it's not working at all (if you're sure the battery is good), here are the reprogramming instructions:

that's not for linking the remotes (Driver 1 or 2 for seat memory settings) its only for adding new remotes for locking and unlocking....
