Unhappy Blurry Backup Camera

Hi all,
The backup camera of my '15 ILX is completely out of focus and blurry. As in drunk goggles can't see any details blurry about 9K miles out of my warrant. We have been having some fun weather where I am at. Rainy, Sun, Snow, 80 degrees, back to rain and cold so I want to guess this is the cause of the issue. The outside of the lens does not appear to have any smudges, nor does the inside of the lens from what I can see. Do you think that condensation got under the lens somewhere not visible? Module issue? Some sort of connection issue? Help!!

Thanks-

The lens on my wife's Mazda3 never seems to be all that dirty, and yet, every time I wipe it off the screen image looks significantly sharper. Not saying this is your issue, but it's worth a try.

Oh I have wiped it off. Its definitely not that but I was hoping that it was since it is the free route. This doesn't appear to be the free route but I also don't want the hassle of changing out the lens if its something simpler

This happened to my 2015 too. No matter how much I tried to clean the lens it would always be blurry. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the camera module under warranty.

If you've wiped it clean on the outside and it's still blurry then something is definitely wrong. You're probably still under warranty so take it in and get it replaced.

2015 model... I agree with Schen72, unless you have high mileage you should be still covered with your warranty. Bring it in so MissBarbie can see what she is backing into. Hahaha!
