ILX 2017 has sudden engine bolts once in a while
Here is my problem. Once every few days, my ilx 2017 will have a sudden bolt. It usually happens during low speeds ~1-10 mph. It seems to happen after I take off my feet from the brake or just after I put it on or even outside these 2 conditions. When it happens, I get really confused and start looking in the rearview mirror since it feels like someone had rear ended me. Of course, everytime this happens and I look back, I see no car there.
Any idea why this is happening? It seems to me there is some type of transmission issue?

a dual clutch transmissions acts pretty much like a standard or manual transmission.
From Acura's website featuring the ILX, while describing the transmission..

- Because dual-clutch transmissions have been known to shift roughly (particularly from a stop), we took the unprecedented step of incorporating a torque converter for a smoother launch.
Thanks for the response. I was able to do more research into this, and found this

I had that TSB performed on my ILX, even though I never experience any really hard bumps or shifts while slowing down. But the TSB did seem to make it smoother. If I hadn't known about the TSB I wouldn't have complained but knowing it's there, why not?
