Hello everyone. Hoping you can assist with an issue I've had over the last few days. I have a diagnostic booked at Acura which isn't for another week, so I am hoping to isolate and try to solve the problem myself before then. It is a 2015 ILX Dynamic.

It's a really strange issue. A few days ago, I noticed that all audio stopped working. I can navigate menus, see my USB folders, see my radio presets and bluetooth connected music tracks, but the tracks will not play (numbers are not moving). At first, I thought it was the speakers, or a fuse. But it seems to not be the case as the unit is not playing the songs. I received a phone call, and I was able to talk without any issues whatsoever. So that rules out speaker issues.

To make matters more confusing, yesterday it started working again briefly. For about 15 minutes, I was able to play music in any mode. Until it cut out again. It came back on and off again briefly shortly after that. This rules out a fuse possibility, correct? As those tend to be either "on" or "off".

I'm stumped! Radio isn't locked, I have not had any battery issues (it's less than 1 year old). I am leaning towards a loose connection or possibly software related. Acura mentioned my specific vehicle does not have much in terms of audio software. They have asked me to bring it in for diagnostic, which alone is a couple of hundred dollars.

This could be a complete coincidence, but today while I was driving, radio was working fine until i went over a speed bump. Then immediately stopped. This leads me to believe it's loose wiring somewhere.
