No sound through Bluetooth audio

No sound through Bluetooth audio

Ok so I’ve had my fair share or CarPlay and Bluetooth glitches just like the rest of us but yesterday a new issue arose that I can seem to find a solution for. I have and iPhone 8’s with the beta ios13 software installed and was working flawlessly for a few weeks. Now it will automatically connect to Bluetooth audio like usual and show artist and song info but now there is no sound at all. It shows the song playing but nada. It works via CarPlay sometimes as long as I plug the phone in after the screen boots up. Now I know it’s not the phone because it works flawlessly in my wife’s Alfa Romeo every time all the time. Anyone have any similar issue? I’ve done the 3 finger reset and pulled the audio fuse and nothing seems to help.

The only thing I ever saw that addressed this was to remove the phone from Bluetooth and re-add it. I know, because I did it about 10 times in my year of ownership as I would be playing audio books and it would suddenly go silent.

Ok thanks I’ll try that when I get out of work. I even went onto the menu and unchecked android auto which was supposed to help and no help. Rather not go to the dealer just for them to say it’s my phone.
