Bluetooth Audio and Waze

How do I hear Waze, which is running on my Android cell phone (Samsung Galaxy 5s), via the car's sound system?

I have the phone paired with the HFL for phone calls and that works.
I am listening to Sirius but want to be able to hear Waze's alerts and notifications via the car's sound system - can this be done? from what I've read it seems like it should work via Bluetooth Audio, but I don't know how to get that to work - any help would be appreciated!

We need to know the make/model of your vehicle. I don't think the 06-08 TSX had bluetooth audio; only bluetooth phone. I use a USAspec adapter or AUX cable for my iPhone. I tried installing a bluetooth module connected to my AUX plug; but, I have to sync every time I start the car (too much trouble for short trips).

You can still have this through your AUX port. Get off of Amazon a Bluetooth Aux port, one that has a mini-usb like
Amazon.com: Mpow® Portable Bluetooth 3.0 Audio Music Streaming Receiver Adapter with Hands Free Calling and 3.5 Mm Stereo Output: MP3 Players & Accessories Amazon.com: Mpow® Portable Bluetooth 3.0 Audio Music Streaming Receiver Adapter with Hands Free Calling and 3.5 Mm Stereo Output: MP3 Players & Accessories

or this
Amazon.com: Belkin Hands-Free Bluetooth Car Kit for Apple iPod, Apple iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android Smartphones, US Version: MP3 Players & Accessories Amazon.com: Belkin Hands-Free Bluetooth Car Kit for Apple iPod, Apple iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android Smartphones, US Version: MP3 Players & Accessories

Then you can get a 12V to USB for the 12V plug inside of your arm rest and hook it up so the device always charges.

I do have to turn it on every time I get in the car which is a pain but I don't have to pair it each time. You may want to look for one that turns on every time you start your car up. The model I provided you a link to is an example of one. The exact model I own I don't know if they make anymore.

I stream music and the Waze app through it and it works great. Only problem I have is if Waze runs, it causes a problem with my hands free calls but I think that is more of my phone and not the car.
