Selling a 150hp luxury sedan for 27k is ridiculous. Even more criminal, it should have more power than a Ford Focus. Might as well just buy the TSX instead. LOL.. Must be inflation..

If this had a 6 speed and earth dreams engines it would probably justify the price. Maybe next year.. Hopefully..

 

There IS a 6-speed version, with about the same power as the TSX.

 

So as soon as one adds leather and a decent engine. It's at the same price as the TSX. Why would you take this made in America beefed up Civic over a bigger, more refined, and more solid TSX. It doesn't even deserve to hold a candle to the TSX.

A better approach would have been to target people who don't want a large car, don't want leather seats, don't want a sunroof, beefed up engine, and want to keep cost down as much as possible but still want better quality parts than honda offers along w/ Acura dealership services. There's just no good reason to buy an ILX instead of TSX.

 

I guess it's a good thing that you're here to blow the lid off this conspiracy....
