Last time I checked - standing up for yourself is being a grown up. I didn't start it. But also feel free to explain where I was immature. I don't take shit from people in general, although the internet is kinda one of those black holes when it comes to this. I'm also very blunt and straightforward, some people may take that as antagonism, simply because they themselves are 'too nice' to say similar things. I'm not a very nice person tho.

Apologies Jon for the bullshit on this thread.

Slade feel free to PM your response and we can vacate Jon's thread of BS.

Hope these help. If you need another shot describe what you want to see and I'll do my best.

Above you can see where I cut the lip to fit.

You can see here I just bolted the sti lip straight into the OEM lip/bumper. Yes this will ultimately put a hole in your OEM lip but its underneath where no one sees.

Fitment is pretty decent.

One more with the camera on the ground.

Again, I hope those help you decide!

Alright now three more of my own edited pics.

Love how the amber fogs match the turn signals.

Dat Work Wheels lip though! Really liked the shadow I got on the tire under the fender.

Clean clear fogs when the ambers are turned off. Rear could use some more positive camber.

Thank you sir. I love these wheels. Can not wait to replace the outer lips and get new hardware. The lips are maybe 1inch wide now being 8in wide wheels. Going to 2.5in lips for 9.5in wheels will be so sick. At that point I will need more negative camber in the front then probably just rock the rear as it sits now. But until then some positive camber in the rear would actually make them look less sunk. I'll need to roll the inside fender tab though first.

Thanks buddy; I'm coming from a 04 TL that was mostly stock other than real minor things. I'm not planning on going crazy for a long time but the first piece of business is some coilovers to get out of 4x4 mode.

Thank you! I really like it as well. Looks clean while they are off and aggressive with the amber on. I honestly just wish I could have them on all the time.

That is a good path to take. These cars looks a whole lot better once lowered. Even just 1.5in can make a huge difference! If you decide to keep your oem wheels consider running spacers to make them look more aggressive. You can drop the car then run 15mm upfront and 20mm in back with no rubbing issues and it will look super sweet.

And if you are interested I have some GarageLine 20mm spacers I can sell for $70 plus shipping. They retail for $110... not sure about shipping for them.

hahaha Thank you sir. And let me just say I am super jealous of your independent reverse and fog lights. I need that in my life.

Random shot late yesterday.

Visiting my Brother. Saw a ratty old couch and though "hmmm backdrop?"

"visually" what else ya got planned tho? Car's great already man.

Im actually probably "more or less" done. HEHE Famous last words... All mods i want now are pricey and gamechangers. 1) wheels, 2) bag/coilover combo system, (so if the bags blow and car is older, and I don't want to dump more money into it, ill just stay static) 3) *supercharger (carb legal CT Engineering) but this is more of a maybe, 4) a tune.

After wheels and bags, I will decide if i really want to supercharge or not and get appropriate tune at that time.

Hey Jon, in the picture you just posted above. When your wheels are turned like that and say you go over a pot hole or speed bump at cruising speed (not parking lot speed). Is it possible for the wheel to hit the fender and buckle it? Seems there's not much clearance for the tire+fender.

The lower you go, the more possible that is. Thats one of the reasons why people roll fenders, flare them, or also use these guys.

Fender washers - used in this manner - prevent it from totally ripping off when flexed.

Well to name a couple I still need side skirts and the rear kit. Id like some side skirt extensions once I have the skirt themselves.

Possibly replacing the fogs with some projectors.

Few other ideas I am tossing around.

As well interior shit.

Well what you see in my post above is about one full wheel rotation. Normally you aren't traveling that fast while the wheel is that far turned.

I am no where near aggressive on my wheel size so I have never even worried about my fenders.

I... uh... well, to my knowledge fender washer are there to just make it easier to quickly remove the front bumper.

Just daily driving. Look how dirty that front lip is. Damn dirt roads.

Yes I have LEDs and yes you should use an adapter.

I purchased LEDs and the resistor harness separate on ebay from the same seller; stefan.zheng.

These are the 80w amber Cree LEDs. You will need to select the 9005 for the correct DRL sockets. This ebay link is great because you can use it to also select H11 bulbs if you want to upgrade your fog lights as well. Just select H11 for fogs.

Below is the link to the resister harness sold by the same seller so they should ship together. This link is for the 9005 socket resisters only. He should sell the H11 resisters for the fogs as well if you search in his ebay store.

Jon do you have a picture of your LED DRL? Up in Canada these things are on as requirement and the yellow halogens look absolutely atrocious. I may do the DRL's next depending on picture. Also, does it affect your High Beams much at night? I suspect it may lower the light output, but is it enough to pose a safety hazard?
