hi i have a 2015 base ilx .......yes its been discussed but its the future now!

i want the larger screen found with the nav 2016 model. After all it's just a display screen and the problem is just the input wire. Considering this anyone able to find a picture of the wires and see if its just the same color-coded wires with just different output connectors? could just cut them and merge them together. Trying to find a diagram that states what each wire does.....



I did in fact find the solution to this but its $$$ but the 2013 MDX screen is 100% compatible features safe butt connector and colored wires. Just the plastic housing is different so you would need to buy a ilx gps screen to gutt and well... what's the point your already near 240$ ;/ << pics below are ilx and MDX clearly the grey connector is the same

 

kind of went on a long talk here for the 2016 model but i see the 2013 model has the same connection almost its just missing the right grey square connection featured on the first pic whats that for?

 

I gave up on this long time ago, grabbed an iPad and hooked it up with the CD mount, that's probably the best cost effective solution.
