Hi All, my wife stopped short and had to brace herself and unfortunately broke the touch screen radio control with her hand. Has this happened to anyone? And how much is it to fix?
Also, my MDX is a lease. Is it a problem to get it fixed outside of the Acura dealership if I can find a cheaper option? Thanks!

yes, the screen does not work. has cracks. but all the climate and radio controls from the steering wheel work fine. just can't see anything.

Last July I had a the rear seats folded and, when somebody cut me off on an interstate highway, a small box weighing about 3 pounds flew between the front seats and hit the touchscreen on my 2015 MDX. Shattered just like yours did. State Farm initially said their radio vendor would repair it. Next day they authorized me to go to local Acura dealer. Cost was over $1,800 and the tech said he had to tear apart most of the center dash to do it, taking several hours. Dealer gave me an overnight loaner.

Now good as new.
