Our ILX story

I finished a short writeup on our ILX. I'll probably change up the photos later but they're OK for now.

What a great writeup and website.
That car looks much better than most of the pictures I'd previously seen. And your sunsets...and photos. Wow.

Time for a new avatar, friend.

Nice write up, nice car, excellent pictures. Now be careful out there! I'm really happy with my 6MT Polished Metal Metallic.

Very true. I tested the 2.4/6MT in white last week, and it is absolutely stunning. I really wasn't prepared for such a gorgeous finish, and I'd go for it myself. (Well, if Acura gives the ILX a Type-S treatment, that is. )

At work, so I'll read the write-up later, and definitely looking forward to it.

Great review, and awesome pics, which capture that finish as well as photos can IMO. I know what you mean about developing sensitivity to "find the feel" in EPS, but I still found the ILX steering too light and numb for my tastes. It works fine though.

Thanks everyone, I'll probably tint the windows next, but call it a day on extras there. My two biggest 'wishes' are for a lumbar support for the drivers seat and a 'not an ashtray' for coins. My normal drive includes 8-9 miles of 60 mph and another 8-9 miles of city streets. My average speed on this tank of gas (my second) is only ~27 MPH so I'm guessing we'll call it "City driving". Currently, I'm showing ~29-30 MPG which is what I expected.

I have a good mix of city highway (probably about an even mix) and average 30-31 mpg...28 if I'm flogging it on a highway cruise (cruising at 70 with WOT bursts up to 85+ mph).

FYI, there is a screen in the MID that shows your actual average miles per hour for the current tank of gas. Very helpful when trying to gauge if you're doing what you're 'supposed' to be doing.
