So I have a 2017 Blue Base with 18x8 Enkei Raijin in Gunmetal (if you care..) and I sound deadened the whole car, replaced the door speakers and am about to wire in a 4 channel amp for the speakers. My questions are, do all Base models have audio amps from the factory? Does the audio input to the amp have a rca type voltage or a speaker type higher voltage?
Should I tap into the speaker signal before or after the amp? Before should make the signal cleaner but not sure what level is going in. I'm using Audio control's LC2i Pro going into a Audio Control ACM 4.300 amp. The LC2i Pro will give me a place to run an RCA to the trunk for some thump down the road. Any one know the story on this possible stock amp in the car? I did a search to no avail.
