octoher12, i would love to drop it.. for the looks and stiffer feel.. but im still loving the stock ride.. if theirs a coilover setup that doesnt feel too bouncy.. lemme know, thanks.

pockets, i would black out the headlights/taillights.. if i was ready to do a drive by, lol. i think it looks fine the way it is.. dont want it to take away the looks n lines of the car..

Blacked out or smoked tails would look sick.

I have never been a fan of blacked out headlights.
But if you could open the headlights up or get a second set and black out the amber alone. THAT would be killer.

It looks sick with the color matched grill! I also have a black ilx and plastidipped the grill matte black, but it looks much better with a real paint job. How much did that set you back?

you should vinyl wrap the chrome trim around the windows.

i vote no for black or shaded tails. keep them stock!
modify the heads, tho!!!

it'd be sick if you could paint the inside of the headlight housing black and maybe get rid of the orange

I'm looking into getting the full race exhaust. That's what you have installed right now right? If so, How does it sound and did you notice a good difference in power?

Hey Dimanche87, nah..it's my stock exhaust.. I just got a tip for it and modified my old turn down tip and cut into the bumper.. I'm not really into a full exhaust for my car.. It's a four cylinder luxury car, so I like the quietness of it. I have a brother that has the dodge charger srt8 and it sounds badass when you gas it.. I just don't want a car that sounds loud but won't go anywhere, you know.. Full exhaust is cool.. But for me, I'm just more into aesthetics.. But performance/sound.. I really like the k&n air intake.. As it sounds nice when vtec kicks in..

..I want people to turn heads for looks, not sound.

I feel you on that. This is actually the first vtec I owned so I wanna see how much it can do but also keep the luxury aspect of it. I don't want an annoying loud exhaust but one that has a good tone and provides some performance gains you know?

Well first, congrats on the ILX.. Honestly, I can't put down any mods you do to your car.. That's what makes it different from being stock and from other owners.. As long as you love what you're doing and not regret it.. More power to ya.. Have you heard the stock exhaust system from the Nissan 350/370Z or Infiniti G35/G37? It sounds really burly and badass.. That's what should be on our car from the factory.. But whatever you do, good luck, post some pics, and let us know how it sounds and feel.

Yea I actually heard a 350Z yesterday pass by me. That exhaust sounded so mean. I want that sound. But I've already don't a couple mods so far. Gonna make a thread here soon about it but I love what you did to yours so far. If I would've gotten the black I would've done something similar to what you did. Real good job and is definitely an head Turner
