Check Emissions System?

Installed SRI about 2weeks ago and no issues, driving today and check engine Iight pops up and screen says check emissions system???

Tightened fuel cap to make sure that's not it and going to reset ecu later?

Any ideas what I should check first? Also ecu reset same as older gens? Disconnect main batt terminal then plug back in or is there a fuse in the ILX you can disconnect to reset?

I also had this issue, but I have the 2.4 and I/H/E - if you are planning on adding the other 2 pieces, you might as well start saving for Hondata The truth is it will add a lot of flow, and removing the cat, I could smell the increased emissions. Under hard driving conditions its probably gonna throw a temporary code, at the least. My code left after a day, but I'm still gonna do Hondata soon. Do you have the 2.4 or the 2.0? Most likely dirty MAF sensor, or bad connection to MAF sensor. Always start with the easiest fix.

The maf only reads how much airflow there is.
I would think the maf is dirty as well. I have heard of that happening.

I've been running my sri for over a year now and no issues so I don't think know it's the intake itself.
Swap the stock intake back in and bring the car in under warranty.

Did you have any further issues? I installed the Skunk2 intake three months ago and suddenly have this issue same issue. I reset it once a week ago at Auto Zone. But this morning it came back on.

I thought the last time that it was just the gas cap, as I had filled up that day, but now that it is back I'm wondering if I need Hondata or at least the Skunk2 MAP sensor.

Have you added any additional mods in the time since this posting? I just have the intake was planning on just that, but if it is just a MAP sensor I'll suck it up and buy it. Its a Lease so I did not want to go Hondata if I could avoid it. Although the power would be nice :-P
