Jewel eye lights are different than TLX. Looks like the DRL are a strip instead of the dots integrated into the lights.

It says 201 hp. Which engine is it though? Non-DI from the Civic Si or DI from the Accord?

DI motor, 5 hp less than the TLX. Torque increased by 10 foot pounds and peak torque is almost a 1000 rpms lower in the range.

Nice to see they kept actual switches for the heated seats.

Thanks guys. Looks great IMO, that combo will definitely sell a lot better than the old R series with 150 hp. Looks much more like a luxury car now.

I don't think I'd buy one, but I like it. A good improvement that should appeal to people who would've been buying TSXs, but are turned off by the TLX's/Accord's size

It now has a lot of features not available on the Accord. Which is good.

The 'lesser' navigation that's powered by a user's phone sounds good, it's about time.

But it doesn't have 6MT. I my eyes that is more of a feature than any other tech. Why I went with a sport over TLX.

Well, so much for the stickshift.

A year and a half from now when my lease is up, I'll have a decision to make.

Regrettably so but 6MT owners and demand are a dying prospect.

Same for me as we have/had the same. The 'rarest' car I ever had was a '93 MR-2 Turbo, according the C+D, Toyota only sold ~1300 that year.

For the revised ILX, it looks like Siri will be a part of the Tech package. Its currently a no-cost dealer installed patch for Premium and Tech. Interesting.

Also, they've found a way to add the safety features of the Advance Package to the car without adding an Advance trim. Maybe this is an experiment to see how many people really want the safety stuff? So...
ILX
ILX + AcuraWatch
ILX Premium
ILX Premium + A-Spec
ILX Tech
ILX Tech + A-Spec

What is unclear is how to get an ILX Tech with A-Spec and AcuraWatch? Is it included if you get A-Spec? The release says every trim is available with it ... need more info!?

At least one article has stated that the manual was pushed out because of "disappointing sales." I wonder if it would have sold better had it been made available with the full Tech package...

Let me tell you, I would've kept my ilx if it was a tech package. I know a lot of people don't care for having a GPS system, but let me tell you...it's way easier than trying to navigate off a phone screen and bluetooth streaming.

It might make sense if Tech includes AW, and AS is the A-Spec package. But does this mean that the Premium also includes AW? Wow, maybe our rep called to explain everything, I'll have to check.

Yea, but the Civic si doesn't have leather, heated seats, dual screen, MID display, 8 speed dual clutch, jewel eye, sound deadening, 180lb ft of torque, or els sound system (option)

Any Idea on Pricing? This will def bite into TLX base sales!

yea, I think they'll run into same problem, again! the car with this much tech is gonna rub elbows with the base tlx -- especially with the fact that they're making similar power.

But, better to have people buying Acura than other brands...that's I think the rationale here. Plus, I'd rather have a totted up small car then a slightly less loaded big car.

Actually I'm confused now about the Premium trim as well. It says in the press release that it includes BSI and Cross Traffic but it doesn't mention the AcuraWatch bundle but it does say that all trims can be had with Acurawatch. Maybe the A-Spec Premium has AcuraWatch but the regular Premium doesn't?

That's the only thing that makes sense. The press release is very confusing.

Hmm I'm surprised no one picked up on this but I see no mention of IDS. I dont see an IDS button on the center console anywhere in the pictures either.

Another thing, to get the 18" wheels, you have to go A-Spec but to go A-Spec means you give up leather. As always, there are going to be compromises, but these are different than what we've seen before from Acura.
