32" Toshiba LCD and pc compatibility issues

32" Toshiba LCD and pc compatibility issues
If i hook up my computer via VGA to a 32" Toshiba LCD, the resolution is not supported by the lcd tv, or so the screen says when i switch to the PC input. The computer being hooked up won't display 1366 X 766 which is 720p, what options do I have?
