Dude seriously, screw Cree. There's plenty LED bulbs on the market now to not have to settle on a Cree brand.

The only thing I have settled on Cree for still is outdoor flood lights. I have not been able to find anything with as high a lum output and as wide of a coverage area as them. I have a pair of 1500 lum 45 degree floods in my backyard. I went to get a pair for my driveway bu they have been discontinued. The new model is only 40 degree wide but still the same output. They are crazy bright and normal daylight color. Great for sending the dogs out in the yard at night or doing a late night car wash in the driveway.

Yup, every time one dies I've been replacing with Home Depot Ecosmart. They are less than half the price of a Cree. Hopefully they last. Pisses me off that I have still have CFL bulbs that have lasted over 10 years and these expensive Cree bulbs are lucky to make it to 3 years.

I have been using the Phillips Warm Glow Dimmable LED filament bulbs. Haven't lost one yet and the light temperature is perfect for me. I have had poor luck with Cree and Feit, especially in outdoor fixtures.

Same here. Ecosmart has lasted well for me.

So in my bathroom I have a lamp with 3 LED bulbs. I remembered putting some Ecosmart in them. One day one of the bulb died and I was like wtf, Ecosmart died on me? Turns out it was a damn Cree that I mixed with the lamp! Gladly threw that out and replaced it with an Ecosmart. So yea, no more Cree for me.
