Question Glass shelving...

So, I have an enormous collection of robots. And eventually, I would like to display most of them and not store them in the basement in computer boxes and behind packing bags.

Anyhow, I've started looking for shelving (aside from the Ikea Billys) and found these guys: http://www.dalcoconcept.com/ ...They appear to sell to retail/commercial places...but, has anyone tried to buy from them any glass display cases for their own personal use at home?

That would be a good idea for your collection. You can probably buy a glass type display case from stores that are going out of business. Check the classifieds in the local paper or craigslist.

Word of advice, see if they make them dust proof.

Doors DO NOT make a glass cabinet dust proof, the way the doors and cabinet are sealed do.

I have a glass display from ikea for some of my star wars stuff. It works, but I want to get away from glass shelves just in case there is a quake or what have you.

I actually just picked up 2 Element bookcases from Crate and Barrel this evening for just the display use over at the new condo. They are cool because one end is open. Just a unique style set of shelves.

Here are a few links to companys that make some great acrylic display cases. Poke around their websites and I'm sure you'll find something that will work.

^ Thanks, TSXEd05!

Good for down the road if I ever need those. However, I'm more after glass shelving.
