Blender recommendation anyone?

Have a Krups 720S blender:
Amazon Amazon

that I've been using daily for the last 12 years and it's about bit the dust. Normally used for making very thin smoothies and no frozen stuff. Anyone have a recommendation for something quiet and long lasting that won't break? Glass jar is fine, really don't care about features more so than how quiet it is. Folks have said Ninja but the quiet cover one's start getting very expensive ($800 dollars)! I'm using a cheap walmart blender that'll wake up the dead at the moment with how loud it is!

Appreciate any feedback!

No personal experience nor any idea on noise, but I think this is the one a co-worker won at our Christmas party last year. 2hp motor Should be enough power to blend a medium-sized yak. $130 on Amazon

You guys are epic! If I wanted to grind a canoe or yak I'd borrow the V8 blender from Jeremy Clarkson:

Unfortunately for me I'm not grinding anything that cool up... pretty much protein powder, milk and almonds.

Pryor to buying my Breville blender back in 2012 I would burn up fairly high end blenders on a regular basis (they'd typically last less than a year), I bought the Breville in desperation as I was tired of burned out motors and this thing is still rockin' eight years later.
