My girlfriend and her sister moved into an aparment in chicago together. Her sister was in a previous aparment for 2 years so they pretty much have everything to furnish the apartment. I still want to get them something, esp since its the gf's first place out of home. Any suggestions?

 

Some ideas:

- Oriental (i.e. Japanese, Chinese) tea-set
- Potpourri basket with soaps and etc.
- Vase
- Nice coffeetable book

 

How much are you looking to spend?

Candles and holders are good. So is gift cards. It depends on how much you know your gf and her sister's taste.

 

A nice snuggly blanket that matches their living room decor, to go on the couch.

$50-$60 is probably the max I want to spend, I can stretch it a little. No gift cards Ravi, I want it more personal than that.
