Did Biceps and Back + Ab Ripper X tonight. I actually had trouble throwing the trash into the dumpster tonight. My forearms literally gave out on me. Good sign that they got a serious workout.

Weights. I have 25lb and 10lb dumbbells. I wish I had some 35lbers or 40lbers for the curls last night, but even with just the 25lbers my biceps are feeling it bigtime today. Been a LONG time since my arms have felt this sore. Loving it!
Yoga tonight.
Yoga tonight.

I am officially starting p90x on 6/7/10 (Monday). This will by second attempt. The first time i finished the first month but then got lazy. I GOT RESULTS from just one month around 15-20 lbs. Now that it is summer i will be able to finish it.
I will post what i do like the rest of you, i didn't do that last time but i hope it gets me more motivated to keep going.
oh ya, I LOVE the Plyo day. It is my favorite by far.

Right now im hovering at 200. Hoping to come down to 180 with a six pack. Its my mid sections i just can't get rid of it.
Ur results looks good Supertrooper
One piece of advice on the yoga X, IMO i have found that the first 45 minutes are the hardest, i think in the last 20 or 30 minutes it is a cool down. You have to focus on the breathing because when your doing it you shouldn't be thinking about anything.

^ Thanks. Ironically enough I did an hour of the Yoga X last night instead of 45 minutes. I actually considered doing the whole thing since for some odd reason it didn't seem as boring as usual to me, but I wanted to shoot some hoops and then go for a quick run and didn't have time to do everything, so I stopped it early and went outside for some basketball and then ran. I think now that I'm able to stretch more I was happy to not be falling over on some of the harder moves. Plus I do enjoy the extra pushups in between the upward dog and downward dog moves.
I do have a hard time with the breathing, so I did focus on it a bit more last night as well. It's hard to take deep breaths when your mid-section is being squeeze like a pretzel, but I tried my best and like I mentioned before felt better about the Yoga thing overall last night. I always sweat like a mofo so it definitely burns calories as well. Maybe next time I'll do the full 1:30.
And as far as the results go, I can already tell that Day 60 and Day 90 are going to blow the Day 1 and Day 30 pictures out of the water. I figured I wouldn't see crazy results at Day 30, but after the Biceps and Back routine Wednesday my arms have felt incredibly jacked, so more good stuff to come I'm sure. Just have to get the mid-section more trimmed up and I'll be a happy camper.

I did Chest & Back + Abripper X yesterday. there were 2 types or pushup i could not even do 1! Today is pylo my favorite one of them all.
I found a recipe for a great snack to eat during the day, its called sticky bars. It is from a list that Tony Horton has.
1/4 cup of pure peanut butter ( i got fresh ground from grocery store)
1 cup granola ( i used french vanilla w/ almonds)
1/2 med banana
Mash everything together in a bowl. Divide in two portions. Put on wax paper in the shape of a hot dog or square candy bar. Wrap, then stick in freezer for 90 minutes. You can eat it frozen or stick in the microwave for 10 seconds. (note you can multiply the portions and make more, just store it in the fridge and grab it when you want)
I just ate and and it was really delicious. try to get a peanut butter that is not loaded with sugar or fat otherwise it defeats the purpose of eating it.
@SuperTrooper, where's the update, I hope you haven't stopped.

Plyometrics was hard core as usual yesterday. Biceps and Back, Ab Ripper X tonight. My arrms feel great, but I feel a slight tweek in my upper back near the left shoulder blade. I'm going to have to put some ice it later tonight.
Back up to 222lbs after a long weekend of drinking, but it could be a lot of water weight that I can shed easily. Might have to get back into the running routine in the morning again to try and lose even more unwanted lbs.

Yoga X last night. I actually almost completed the DVD for the first time since starting P90X. I cut it short about 20 minutes, so over an hour of Yoga. The tweak in my back/shoulder blade felt much better after Yoga, but today it's still kinda tender. More ice tonight and hopefully tomorrow it'll be better.

Legs/Back and Ab Ripper X tonight. Despite still feeling a slight tweak in my upper back, I kicked butt tonight! I did more pullups than ever before. While last time I struggled to do any unassisted pullups toward the end of the DVD, tonight I was pumping out 4 and 5 of them each time. Might not seem like a lot compared to the 15+ they're doing on the DVD, but for me who has always sucked at pullups, it was a huge victory. I attribute it to my arms getting stronger as well as my shoulders. My wife keeps commenting on how ripped my arms are now and I can definitely see/feel the difference. Encouraging since I didn't feel great today and wasn't too pumped up to do P90X tonight.

I hate Legs & Back.
I hate any workout involving legs.
I don't have puny legs.
But for some reason I don't have much motivation when I'm working out my legs. I just get tired and burnt out, whereas when I'm doing upper body, I get tired but I'm pumped up and always pushing to get that last rep.
Despite that, I had the best Leg & Back workout today than I've had in quite a while...

LOL!
Instead of kenpo x, I went with my sister to a step class. it wasnt the same trying to keep up with those people. I didnt know the moves. My shirt was still soaking wet though

Still just as sore as I was yesterday. Can't hardly walk straight.
Abs sore as hell too.
This workout was Saturday morning.
This is reason enough not to go a month w/o working out. :shakehead
Doing Chest&Back in about 30 minutes. Good thing is doesn't have anything to with legs. :ouch:

Holy Hell!!!!
I don't what happened....or what I did different.
I just finished Shoulders & Arms and I felt like an animal!!
I bumped up weight and/or reps on almost every single exercise. And I still feel like I could keep going. I've never felt this pumped up.
Along with that, I feel like my arms are starting to tighten up some. Why can't every workout be like this??

^ That's great man! I know what you're saying. Right after my first Biceps/Back workout I felt like The Hulk! I was just grunting and flexing uncontrollably lol. Got that exact workout tonight so I'm looking forward to another Hulk moment.
