3rd brake light replacement

Hi guys, I'm really in a pinch here. My tl 3rd brake light went out and need it to pass state inspection. I check the dealer and they want $400 to replace it. I asked if they have just the led but according to them you can't change it that way and will need to get the whole assembly. I been asking and researching but haven't seen any post about it. It there a way I can just change led itself and not have to get the whole assembly. Also where can I get it, I checked with all the parts store and haven't had any lucks whatsoever.

Thanks in advance for yall help

Well p4600 of the https://acurazine.com/forums/fourth-...manual-956811/ of the service manual looks like one unit. If the high mount brake light is what they call it. 34270-TK4-A01 bout 200.
Removal is the manual too.
HIGH MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REPLACEMENT
1. Remove the high mount brake light cover (A) by pulling straight down on the cover to release the clips.
High Mount Brake Light: LED
Fig. 53: Removing High Mount Brake Light
2. Disconnect the 2P connector (B) from the high mount brake light (C).
3. Remove the two bolts and the high mount brake light.
4. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.
5. Clean the rear window, and install the high mount brake light cover in the reverse order of removal.

Course if I wrong and it is not call high mount brake light. Turn to Thoiboi the mod for help, just look for the car with the red fog lights.

You need to change the whole assembly. Also called high mount brake light.
