Where to go in downtown Toronto?

Hitting up my AZ brothers and sisters for advice!

I'm going to be in the GTA for a conference next week. Bringing the wife. Would love to know good places to eat and visit downtown and nearby. I've been to Toronto before, but that was about ten years ago.

Thanks so much!

CN tower is something nice to do if you or your wife haven't been. Food was terrible when I went last year, but the view when you eat is second to none.

Hockey Hall of Fame
ROM - Royal Ontario Museum
Ontario Science Center
Center Island
Eaton Center - your wife will prolly wanna go there
Tour the Steam Whistle Brewery
Chinatown
Yorkville

as for restaurants, im not sure what you like but there are many places in Toronto that are really good.

Use this site to find what you are looking for http://www.dine.to/

enjoy your stay, hopefully the weathers nice when you visit.

Thanks for the assist so far guys. We're leaving the little one at home, so the wife and I are using the time when I'm not at the meeting for a little getaway.

Looked at Eaton Center....must keep wife away.... Eaton Centre website

One of my colleagues told me about Center Island just this morning.

My wife would love poutine, she's a potato gal.

Thanks again!

Bloor Street in between Yonge St. and Avenue Rd. All the boutiques and flagships are there.

If you are not on a budget check out North 44, One or Nyood. High end type food. The presentation of their dishes are fantastic
