Big Brake Kit!

I am looking at purchasing a big brake kit for my 03 CL-S for the front and rear any recommendations on brand and where I can buy a set. Maybe in the GTA preferrably but if not, will order from US. Thanks. Also don't want to go crazy with something like Brembos just a nice kit which is better than OEM.

there's not much out there for the CL. Brembo, Wilwood. If i were you i'd get an RL BBK. It uses the stock front RL 4 piston calipers (that also say acura on them), 350z brembo rotors, and RL pads. There's a guy who makes an adaptor to make them fit on our CLs. I almost did this, but the brakes wouldn't clear my rims, and i don't want to use spacers. Search in the CL section, there is info on it there. With cheaper rotors and used calipers, you can do it for 600-650. Not sure if there's anything out there for the rear....i don't think it's needed either.

Other caliper options are Legend calipers and NSX calipers - both are direct bolt on and both are 2 pistons VS our stock one piston calipers. They aren't a bbk though.

Thanks I will search the RL option it might be the best and cheapest as well. I need the back as well because it looks like the rear calipers are seizing, my pads are not making full contact with the rotor.

If i were you i'd just get your rear calipers rebuilt. There's a few local places that can do it, then just upgrade your rotors and pads to something more aggressive.

That would mean my car would be out of commision if I chose to rebuild them. If I return the cores back when I buy remanufactured ones it won't be that costly. Probably paint them black as well with a clear over top. Have you done anything with your brakes yet? Don't you find being supercharged that the OEM brakes are terrible. I think so, and I don't have that extra power you do.

That's true, look at Rockauto.com. They seem to have good prices and they do the core return and all that.

I'm getting NSX calipers for the front. The RL BBK wouldn't clear my rims but the nsx calipers will be great. They are 2 piston and are a direct fit with no clearence issues. I'm probably going to powdercoat them. I have powerslot rotors and EBC redstuff coming also. That should help with slowing down this boat!

Yeah if possible the RL BBK is probably the best way to go.
Only issue is finding a set of used calipers locally.

Anyone know where the best place to look would be?
I've searched a few scrapyard sites but noone seems to have em right now.

keep looking at carpart.com I saw some used ones in Western Canada...they quoted me 300 shipped if i remember correctly. Or you can check in the upper states...but you may pay duties.
