My response to her was an effort to differentiate why men should qualify women before taking them out on a date... Women qualifying men? That happens all the time before agreeing to go on a date with them. What do they have to lose, though? A couple hours?

The blind date context is another thing... I think it's safe to say that this guy wouldn't have bothered with an obnoxious girl like that in the first place. I would hope not, at least.
