Need some advice on how to proceed!
rockyboy, how have you not realized this? YOU are 35 and single. Millions of couples younger than you, are happily married, and have been together for longer than a decade. Yet, you have ALL the answers and think you are in a position to give advice?

So you say money attracts women, but you're not willing to spend money on them until later in the relationship? Not getting it.
Also I'll throw it out there - buying a $50K car and balking at a $135 date is contradictory. That has to be what, 1/4 or 1/5 of a car payment? So what you're really saying is in order to attract women you need to spend money on you, not her.
There is no contradiction here. A woman will think what she may be able to get in the future, so at the beginning maybe you don't have to pay for everything. Besides, maybe I'll meet someone better
. This is only a first date...
. This is only a first date... So now I'm confused. You've been preaching that women are impressed by money, but $135 for a date is "too much" and you're going to insist on splitting the bill? So your strategy to impress her with money is to pony up $68 and split the bill?

There's another issue with paying for everything--the girl might view it as too desperate or she may start acting like a princess. That would be bad. Very bad.
I have a new girlfriend. But there is something far, far worse than being single:
that's being married to the wrong woman who makes one's life miserable.
that's being married to the wrong woman who makes one's life miserable.
I think of you as Neil Patrick Harris. good looking, money, muscles....
butt, GAY!
So really your strategy boils down to attracting a woman based on her desire to drive your car one day? Still not getting it.
You know what's far, far worse than suffering through a miserable wife? Reading your posts. What's your point?
Strategy is simple at this point: wear high end clothing that accentuates muscles. Drive nice car that girl appreciates. Make girl happy by taking her to nice places that she's never been to before. Keep her entertained with humour, and don't be too easy or desperate acting. Don't spend too much money also

I disagree a woman would think that. She's going to think wtf - you have enough money for a new $50K car but you are too cheap to pick up the tab? She's going to conclude you think your stuff is more important than her. First date = last date.

Ride it out dude, sounds like you are good, just don't go all Rocky on her.
Rocky, where the hell do you live that you can get away with $150 for dinner AND 'games?' Happy hour seems to turn into a $100 here and I'm married but we go dutch so it's cool.
I know you're a troll but I have never seen someone stick around so long and preach the same things. You are making me think you are just completely delusional and have a shrine to the poor girls that accidentally glance at you as you drive by in what they think is your girl's car. I can't wait for the pink puppy to post some photos of you.

Toronto, T DOT BABYYYY!!! Cost of a meal for one here averages from $10 to $30 depending on which restaurant you go to. Drinks vary from $4 to $20 depending also. Games also depends where you go. On my first date, I spent $105 (that was for games admission just for me, plus total cost for dinner. My girlfriend paid for her own games admission).
I don't waste time making shrines to girls. Instead, I work out in my home gym to build muscles. I invest to build wealth. With these things, you don't need a girl shrine. Heck, you never need a girl shrine. That would keep you down. Never put a girl on a pedestal, she will walk all over you, son!

OP realized he's a patient guy after all, and we both are still interested in each other.
Date #2 will be a few week from now, 21st of November since I'm travelling for the next week and a half
Hopefully things go well from here! Will keep the updates rolling!

Your hand is not a woman. But if you like to think that, mo powa to ya. Stop posting your stupid advice in other people's threads.
This is OP's thread about something that's real, unlike you. OP posted pictures of the girl he is talking to.
Oh yea. Got married.
Her mom wanted a super huge wedding but we definitely didn't. If anything, we wanted a very small one only with close family. Her mom alone wanted to invited like 100+ people including her husband's work friends etc.. hell naw. Her parents said they'd pay for half but my parents don't have the money and I wasn't going to ask them, so the other half would had to have come out of our pocket.
We have been to a bunch of my friends' weddings recently and we've seen first hand how much money and stress it puts on people. But yea, we didn't need any of that. We wanted to save our money and put it down on a new home and go on a nice, long honeymoon. So, we spent $75 and went to the JOP, with our parent's there. Very short and to the point.
While it definitely wasn't as nice as a regular wedding, it was basically a 'formality' to us and we are happy with the choice. Saved a shit load of money too.
Now just going figure out a place for a reception for family and friends. And also planning a nice long vacation... leaning towards eastern Asia/South Pacific.
