First of all.....What did you do? I think it depends on how bad you messed up.

I usually say I was being an ass and I'm sorry. But for the most part, I try to make sure I don't mess up to begin with.

 

4.5 months and we haven't had a fight yet, so I dunno.

 

3+ years and counting. Argued a couple times about retarded shit, but no fights.

We are both agreeable and have similar interests so its usually A+ for us. I have pet peeves about some of the things around the house but nothing to argue or fight about

11 years married and only a couple of small arguments that were MY FAULT. We just dont fight.

 

I think you will find that if you are compatible with common goals, and not just together for superficial reasons, that fighting will be at a minimum. And even if you do, it should not be anything difficult to come back from because you are both on the "same page" as the other.

So my response will be whatever the situation calls for. But sex is definitely on the table. That shit works. Not for everything...but it works...

18 years and no bad fights, and just a few heated moments / hormonal rages.

But I've done and said some stupid, stupid things that wounded her. To me there's only one way to make it right, and that's apologizing. No flowers, no gifts - an apology cuts right to the issue and doesn't gloss it over.

If it was your fault (or not your fault and u just want some booty).. The most important thing u can do is look her straight in the eyes, clear your throat (to speak clearly) and say "I'm sorry!" If ya'll have been together for anytime u should know her favorite snack or comfort food. Have some of that handy and a funny card saying how stupid u are. Women love to hear that they are smarter and correct (even if it isn't true!).

 

Well, I used to try and make her laugh by doing something silly or stupid with a combination of hugging her and trying to kiss her while she squirms. Eventually, she would cave.
