The best way to get into a relationship is try your hardest not to get into one. Trust me, everytime i don't want a relationship, i end up being in one.

Alright dude...I am not sure if your post even makes that much sense but is it that you give out your number and they don't call? How long has this been going on? I have gone through both feast and famine. Dating people for 2-3 years and being single for a year at a time. I get down but in the end I ended up finding the girl that I love and things are great. Sometimes in the weirdest places. Heck...this is the guy that posted on this dating forum about table names formy wedding being sci-fi names. My fiance' thinks I'm whacked when it comes to my car and mods but we hit it off on movies and other goofiness and overall interests...camping, science, etc. I would never have met her "on the highway" as someone posted or at a bar.

To distill down what I am thinking...be yourself. Yeah, you heard it before but I mean it. It truly works if you are looking for someone that will last and you'll be happier when you find her. I was the most unhappy when I thought that I'd meet someone at a club or something. Just wasn't my scene, although I am totally game for a few beers. Good luck. A whole new year awaits. Giving a to Ash or dbox is one thing, but to be honest, I'd feel more proud of pics of a place that I had been with someone I care about vs. a 3-some in Vegas.

 

Oh, and if it lends any truth to what I posted...everyone is 0 for whatever until they find someone to marry. I was 0 of 3 before I met my fiance. Highschool...2 yr relationship. College...lots of shorter relationships. After college...3 yrs, 3yrs, and then finally (FINALLY!) I met the girl that worked so well with me. Dating sux. I'm over 30yrs old. It takes time sometimes. Plus, the older you get, the more women seem to realize that the smart guys are the ones that make the $ not the jocks.

 

This isn't as uncommon as you may think. Eventually one will come along that you can relate too.
