Beef and tuna gets along with IR though.

My Weber with cast iron grates can reach ~900*. So my searing needs are met.

IR is just high heat through science, so I don't really see the issue.

The crust on the outside of the steak was awesome. My main grill only gets to about 550 so it helped in terms of searing and forming the crust.

It's a purist thing. That's all.

Of course a true purist would look down on my gas grill just the same.

Yeah, I'm going white meat and veggies for a few weeks. Gained 20lbs from end of Feb - May lost 7 of it in 2 weeks by no bread after lunch and less red meats

I'm craving pork n beef like no other though

I've had them before. Reminds me of tiny cabbages. But I love cabbages though.

What do you put on yours? I haven't liked them any way that she has cooked them so far but i just dunk them in BBQ sauce and then all is right again.

I like to pan sear them and then oven roast them (halved) with S+P, EVOO and some bacon crumbles/fat. Some people also like to squeeze a lemon over them.

Oven roasting them it a good way to go.

Marinated Grilled Chicken Kabobs

Marinated with EVOO, Garlic, Herb, and Chile spices, and fresh chives, so flavorful and juicy

Marinated the chicken for about 5 hours
IMG_20140614_132023_zpslr7rkobs.jpg

Chopped up some veggies
IMG_20140614_172859_zpsglafym3c.jpg

Used bamboo skewers and made some kabobs
IMG_20140614_173939_zps0vr0akfb.jpg

Chicken was cooked all the way through and still juicy, veggies were cooked but still crisp. Delicious

Thanks gents, they were freaking amazing. I made super healthy chicken stir fry last night, with red peppers, red onions, broccoli, asparagus, garlic, and fresh banana pepper, with low sodium teriyaki sauce.
