Grocery store had buy 1 get 1 free beef roasts, so I threw one in the crock pot on Sunday with red potatoes, baby carrots, portabellas, and a chopped red onion. Used Roasted Garlic Cream of Mushroom soup, Golden Mushroom soup, and onion soup mix. Came out great, but I left it go a bit too long and overcooked the meat a bit. Still damn delicious though. Only have a before, my after came out blurry as hell for some reason.

Well I made a steak dinner out on the grill last night but these stole the show.

I made a few french baguettes yesterday morning and decided this would be the first thing I would do with them. Toasted on the grill to.

Bruschetta with feta and a balsamic glaze

(worked and drank outside all day so forgive the pic, I was pretty trashed lol)

those look damn good

I smoked a pork butt yesterday. I didn't wrap it in foil at all to char the outside and it came out pretty good. Another thing i did differently was season it then wrap it in saran wrap for 2 hours then add mustard and another layer of different style rub. I wanted 2 layers of rub to give it a thicker crust to char. Overall i like this method

Had a big pack of Italian Sweet Sausage, but wanted something low carb last night, (no buns) so I made a Sausage, Pepper, Onion skillet, and ate it with a side of steamed broccoli. I sliced the sausage up on diagonals, sauteed it with a little EVOO and some garlic, then added red onion, red bell pepper, and sliced up half a fresh banana pepper. Finished it off with a splash of Pinot Noir, and got a nice sweet, spicy combo with a ton of flavor. (Not sure why the pic came out kinda blurry)

Froze half, and am planning to grill the rest of them up another night with some more peppers and onions on some buns. Debating whether I want to saute the onions and peppers in beer or wine...
