Which grill pan?

Which grill pan?
I'm looking to buy a grill pan (mostly for cooking steak, chicken) and was wondering if I should go with cast iron or a Caphalon hard anodized type. Any suggestions?

I love my Calphalon. In this case I would go with the cast as it will do a better job of heat retention for initial sear and cooking through of thicker meats in the oven to finish.
