Crawfish

I'm thinking about getting some crawfish to boil up this year. Since I'm in Jersey is my best bet to mailorder them or can they be found in a local fish market?

back in cali we had a Vietnamese district where there were a bunch of crawfish spots...i would get live crawfish through one of their suppliers. See if you can find a local place that gets live ones and ask them where they get them.

WE have a crawfish day coming to the local farmers market here in a few months

The other place I have seen is http://www.lacrawfish.com/Live-Crawfish-C26.aspx

Much of the cost is shipping via overnight FedEx. Saturday delivery is an extra $15. Not many other options if you don't live near the critters.

I can't convince anyone in my family to try them so I'm going to have to pass

I'll have to compensate with a lobster

lol, they're not much different than shrimp, lobster, crab. just miniature sized.

I hate crawfish. you spend your whole time peeling, and you dont even get full!
