XO, XSX|S, PS4, PS5, PC: Elden Ring

Truly is the best video game I have ever played. In regards to bosses, yeah...some were -- esp. the last boss and 1000% in his final form. He was just insanely powerful and quick and relentless in his attack that made rolling and dodging extremely difficult. Almost no time to heal.
There was one god-like dragon who was incredibly difficult as well.
Messmer was difficult too -- again, just that speed and severity of attacks in the 2nd form made it hard to find time to heal. The others, I was able to handle okay but will level my comment that I used my usual tactics of rot when I can and then slashes with either my greatblade and/or katanas. I will spend more time learning and appreciating the new weaponry after a mini-break.
The game has left me wanting more...and sadly, I think this is it. But, man...WHAT. A. GAME. Simply perfection. Doomie, you need to play it!
I actually tried to replay it and completely am lost, no idea where I am...the hurdle really is 'downgrading' my visual expectations for it despite the fact it has been upscaled somewhat.
Part me is hoping they'll remake it for the PS5.
I will try again.

Make sure you are at least level 160ish IMO or you'll be mincemeat by many of the enemies in the DLC.
I probably still have some side quests to complete in the DLC but I just needed a couple of days to recover from the week of trying to take down the final boss (really the blasted second form). What makes this game unreal is once you stop playing, you end up missing it...Really wanting to play through parts of the main map with my newfound equipment and weaponry.
I had no idea this existed: Elden Ring Nightrein is basically an Elden Ring Roguelike game.
You start off as one of the 8 pre made characters (guardian, recluse yada yada): no custom character except some accessories.
You choose a boss/target to take down before every match begins and join the game with 2 other players (random or custom room entry).
The game is set in total of 3 days. There's a miniboss at end of the first two days (like the tree sentinel, margit or the cat statue thing). You upgrade before the boss fights by exploring the randomised open world in each day (lasting about 10 minutes). In the third day you fight the main target you had chosen to take down.
At the end of each match your reset to level one, albeit there are upgrades that you'll earn (basic Roguelike stuff).
The game will NOT be a dlc or a free to play game. You can expect the price on par with the SOTE dlc.
Anyway, that's all I know. Do you think this is a good direction Fromsoftware is going? Personally, I'm all for creative freedom and risk taking.

I am unsure about Nightrein. It may appeal to the current demographics/trend of online gamers but it sorta goes against what I love about the Souls-games and the long adventuring/epic story-type. Just by saying that, you can already see that I'm not that keen to play it.
I am near completion of my current run with basically 3 bosses left and so, likely playing NG+++++ with SoTE as part of the NG for the first time after going through it after the DLC hit. I expect Radahn to really be even more scary.
