I like it when i rented it for the regular xbox. Cant wait. I am still debating which would be better. This or Ghost Recon. I need to go rent the old Ghost Recon. I never played, and I think it will help me make up my mind.

First Xbox 360 game worth my $$ well 2nd to DOA and the racing one and of course the sports games and fine....COD2 as well hehe

The volumetric effects of the smoke are great.

Overall though I'm not drooling over this as is really doesn't look any more impressive to me than a current generation PC game.

Throw out "overall" however and consider that this is being done on a $400 box and not on $700 worth of CPU & video card, then by all means this gets a big time

 

damn right this game looks great. I'm probably going to wait till summer to get a 360 so they have all the kinks out, but damn... games like this make it so tempting to just go out and get one now.

 

I was pissed that they didn't make the Xbox version backwards compatible with the 360, but I guess this makes up for it

 

does anybody know if people playing the 360 version can get matched up with people playing the regular xbox version?

 

I'm really excited about this game. The visuals are outstanding.

Watching those vids reminds me of how much Controller Based FPS games suck. Too hard to accurately aim and move with the controller.
One of those vids, the guy shooting misses his target (whos 5 feet in front of him) twice before finally landing a shot.

 

Yeah, cause with the mouse and keyboard I never ever miss two shots in a row. 100% head shot every time.

 

I dunno... I run BF2 on a 3 year old $300 Dell and it looks pretty good

it's just a matter of getting used to the control scheme. A friend of mind is unnaturaly good at halo2, he can get a headshot 7/10 times with any weapon that shoots straight (battle rifle, sniper rifles, pistols) he's crazy good.

I just want to try the revolution controler's light gun style aiming scheme.

That does look hot. I have been wavering over whether to buy this or not since I just picked up GRAW, but I think I will have to get this too.

 

Same here. I have GRAW but I think I'll need to pick up BF2 as well. I think I will prefer the BF2 multiplayer more
