Quick ?? for those with xbox and 360

I was thinking about getting a VGA connection cable for my xbox since the regular definition TV's are too blurry for me when I play "precision games", and I was wondering if the AV connection on the xbox360 is the same as the original xbox AV connection. I don't want to buy a VGA cable for my xbox if it won't work with the 360 when I finally get one, and from what I've seen of my friends 360 playing on an SDTV makes getting the 360 almost pointless.

... and I can't afford getting an HDTV, so I'll just use my CRT computer monitor.

cliff notes: can you plug the AV cables for your xbox into the AV port of your 360, or did they change the port?
