Everyone on campus is playing this game so i had to buy it. Just waiting a week for it to ship (damn). i asked my friend if he thought i should buy the game and he responded "if you dont mind being addicted to crack" haha, its that addicting

I've heard rave reviews about it...But, I have yet to try. I'd play it if you didn't have to pay...

Besides, I have a PS2 and Xbox to keep me busy already...

 

i already went through an addiction to diablo 2. no way do i wanna get hooked on this game. im sure its awesome though, if you like mmorpgs

 

i want it but then i hate the effect of "the end" you know... when you finally get over the addiction and finally realized you wasted countless hours of your life, paid a monthly fee, and your just sitting there like damn...

 

THIS GAME OWNS!!!! thats pretty much how it works. Once you start playing this game wow, kiss your free time goodbye. Its an awesome game and I dont care if I waste 6 months of my life playing it, its worth it.

 

Ahh Im getting tired of Fantasay games. Its all about the war games like battlefield vietnam and call of duty.

Don't go there! LOL There are SOooo many comparisons of the two it will make your head spin. And there are many opinions.

From what I have seen, reviews, posts, players and otherwise both games are great!

Bottom line is...
If you like more PvP style and a bit easier game play go with WoW.
If you like more puzzle solving and a more complex system play EQ2.

I find that there is a more mature audiance in EQ2.

Ok guys, fair warning this game is crack in a box. I just started playing I have a level 11 Undead Warlock and all I can say is wow. The graphics on this game, for an MMORPG are fantastic. The worlds are huge, the gameplay is fun and I encourage everyone to try it.

 

I'd like to try it. Anyone know about trials or perhaps a CD key I can purchase ?

 

would love to try but don't have a PC that'll support.....only laptops....

Holy shit, i tried this for the first time today. At first I didn't think it was fun, mostly cuase i didnt know anyone on at that point, and i had to figure out the learning curve, but laterr I played with some people and I realized what a fun game this is. Plus its just visually amazing....esp on my 20 in widescreen lcd

Got a lvl 43 Pally going right now and this game is chewing up all of my free time. Had to upgrade the computer to make sure I was getting the full enjoyment.

 

I played the lineage2 open beta for about a month. It was utterly absurd how much of my life that game sucked away. Thankfully they wanted $15 a month for it so that broke off my addiction, and now I'm too afraid to try any MMORPG ever again

 

Your first MMO is always like crack. After a few years of playing an MMO it dies down.

Unlike any game MMO's are huge and most are ever expanding. The community is what hooks you as well. Most online games it's a hello is about all the converstation you do then it's off to killing. In MMO's your actually building relationships and friends as you group up to complete tough tasks.

This applies to any MMO you play.

just got it today. i bought it yesterday to get home and find out it had already been open and some one stole the discs. glad best buy had like 50 copys today when i took it back. im downloading the damm update right now i wanna play god damm it

Got the lvl 60 Pally going and the end game material was kinda crap until they introduced the Honor System a few weeks ago. Been keeping my attention a bit more now with all the fun at Xroads.

Hopefully Battlegrounds will make the game even more enjoyable once that finally gets implemented some time soon.

Everquest sucked away a good portion of my free time up the summer after senior year of high school and the next summer. its so addicting but fun...as long as you learn to balance real life with the game you're cool

 

get ready to get sucked into the game. the new battlegrounds patch is supposed to be good. hopefully it fixes the raid bugs. as for guild i have my own Evil OverLords.im now lvl 38 almost 39.. cant wait 1 more lvl to i can buy my mount. im so sick of runing every where..
