Wii + WPA-PSK = fail?

Apparently my brother, who's 3000 miles away with the Wii at home, is having trouble connecting to the internet. Before I left home, it was working fine with WEP, but I decided to change to WPA-PSK without testing how the Wii reacted to it first. Thus the dilemma. I can't do proper testing since yeah, distance and the rest of my family is computer-retarded. Is there a known issue between Wii and WPA, or is there something missing?

The Wii has a known issue with wireless

Honestly there are hundreds of threads in gaming forums about people who can't connect for one reason or another. The Wii just flat out killed my other wireless devices when I had my belkin router. I upgraded to a Linksys by recommendation of Nintendo and now I get connection with all devices but WEP doesn't work, so I just use MAC filtering

Apparently the issues are related to the broadcom chip used for blue tooth and wireless

You do realize those two things aren't synonymous with each other, right?

Ahh, I was too lazy to do research when I can get near-immediate responses by refreshing this page. I'll be doing some remote desktop work to get the damn router under control .. He said he changed some things around in there.
