I just bought a new PC and I want a game to play

I don't even know what's big right now and what's not... multiplayer is a plus!

(Not World of Warcraft)

I would say if you havn't played hl2, you should give it a spin, you also get cs source and hl2 multiplayer, only thing is steam is a pain in the arse.. still. It's a well done game though.

 

what is hl2? and what is cs source? and what is steam?

 

Oh, half life 2, i found it... but will it still be awesome like for a while?

 

FEAR looks pretty awesome, anyone play that?

 

Fear is pretty nuts, or the demo was, i still havn't bought it. But it has some pretty neat points, like melee combo stuff, it also happens to be the most demanding game on your system graphically.

 

If you have a new computer thats considered high end, definitely try out F.E.A.R.

In the next few months some really good games will be coming out.

 

F.E.A.R. is great. I also love Half Life 2 even though it is a little old

fear is AWESOMMME, if you have a computer that can fully tap its amazing graphics. otherwise its just mediocore

 

F.E.A.R is simply amazing. Give it a shot and you will NOT be dissapointed...

 

I downloaded the FEAR dmeo this morning and had the lights out in my second room where the computer is, with the volume loud. I have to say my heart rate went up a bit.

lately ive been wanting to play some starcraft, is there a new one out/ coming out soon?

 

yea, Fear is multiplayer but i haven't tried it yet

 

it totally depends upon which type of game you're into. there's very good games in every genre, many of which don't appeal to me in the same fashion with which the games i play don't appeal to them.

 

sadly there is no word of a new starcraft strategy game. only starcraft ghost, which is a 3rd person Metal gear solid type game (stealth-action). which still isnt out yet, right?

Half-Life 2 - get the game of the year edition which comes with Counter-Strike Source, Half-Life Source, and Half-Life 2 Multiplayer.

I have yet to play F.E.A.R. due to me having a crappy system, but yea for multiplayer I say stick with Battlefield 2, you won't be disappointed.

And if your in the mood for an RTS game, The Battle for Middle Earth II comes out at the end of this month!

 

If you're into single player RPG's, Oblivion will be out next month and it has the HIGHEST requirements for any computer game I've seen.

 

So is this basically going to be a RPG with the graphics of a current-gen FPS? Even so, I can't see there being as much a demand for physics calculations and so forth. I'm just having a hard time comprehending why an RPG would have such a high recommended system spec.

 

So does anyone play FEAR multiplayer?

 

Ok, so I got my new Dell laptop. What are good laptop games?

 

I just started but i can't get into 90% of the servers because I haven't updated...

I suck though It's though, the drop-kick unarmed attack owns me

 

I suck too, at least relative to some people here. I beat the game on Moderate but started an "extremely difficult" game and I'm getting my ass kicked

Day of Defeat is pretty raw. the graphics arent the best but the multiplayer in this game kicks ass

how is the multiplayer in COD2? is it on par with counterstrike and DOD? i hate straying away from VALVE FPS games because im always dissapointed.

anyways...anyone check out EMPIRE AT WAR. im thinking about checking this game out. its either that or im going to go buy an old school star craft and get hooked on that crack instead

I love COD2 (PC) I play it almost everyday. It can get really intense.

 

My laptop owns on Bf2, cod2, and source Payed a shitload for my laptop. One year old and it still rocks. 3.2ghz P4 HyperT 2 gigs pc3200, radeon x600 256mb. Right now its hooked up to my 52" lcd as my media center
