Slick tires, coilovers, wing, little bit of aero, added camber, rear sway bar, stock front sway bar, turbocharger @ 28 psi, oil cooler, performance radiator, and racing front / rear brakes.
I went down the rabbit hole to look into sim setups .. god damn are they expensive.
My kid got this simple stand to put his wheel/pedals/shifter on. It's really sturdy and a huge upgrade over trying to clamp the stuff onto a desk. The wheel/etc screws into the stand so no worries about the stuff falling off of the stand.
Picked up a Raspberry Pi4B for my birthday & got Recalbox loaded on it. Have a ton of NES/SNES/N64 roms loaded.
Been playing a bit of Phantasy Star Online on Dreamcast. Took some work to get it to load properly, but got it running well now.

Got myself a Retro Pocket 2 so i can play roms on the go as well.
So, as I posted in the PS5 thread about my n00b discovery that the PS5 controller (and PS4 too) works on computers, I've been playing Hades and man, is it ever great. Highly recommended, guys.
Ive been playing Baldurs Gate 3 EA, Grounded EA, and Assassins Creed Valhalla which I got like a quarter of a way into then put down to play Cyberpunk.
I have PS1 and PS4, so I usually switch between the two.
I’ve been playing Star Wars Dark Forces for PS1 lately. It’s basically a Star Wars version of doom with more complicated game play. You really have to pay attention to how you navigate, utilize the pda and equip the necessary accessories when required. I’ve been stuck a couple times which resulted in looking up a video or reading a strategy guide. Overall it’s a fun game that isn’t just a shoot em up that you can breeze through like so many others.
For PS4, I’ve been okay Red Dead Redemption 2. I won’t go on about it since I’m sure most of you have played it already. I am looking forward to making some moonshine though.
Playing Far Cry 6 right now. It is a lot of fun. I am seeing a lot of negative reviews from people who I guess wish it was something new. I dont get why. If you like a game why would you want it to change? Just go play a new game.
The small details are a lot of fun. And the new buggy with a parachute is amazingly fun to use. Its been my main vehicle even though we get 4 to mod.
Started Deathloop last night. This game is way too much fun for its own good.
They really did a Groundhog's Day theme justice. You repeat the same day over and over while you learn about the lore, what went wrong, and how you factor into it all. Its a lot of fun.
It's like a combo of dishonored and bioshock meets Groundhog's Day.
Picked up for cheap during the Xmas holidays "Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night" for the PS4 and playing on the PS5...it's basically Castlevania but it's sure great.

Thanks for mentioning that game. Never knew there was a game like that for PS4. I recently ordered it and look forward to playing it when it arrives.

Another good Metroidvania (I've been on a kick for this genre lately) game to consider is F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow. That's good and challenging. Very nice graphics too but I like Bloodstained a bit more.
Bloodstained recently arrived in the mail, so I’ve been playing it over the weekend. It’s definitely a fun game with a Castlevania and rpg vibe to it. Highly recommended.

I'm still wrapping the game up...I've gotten a touch over 99% of the map discovered but am spending time crafting weaponry and upgrading shards.
There is definitely benefits to grinding it out...the enemy drops are critical.
Yeah grinding is a must. Had to do that for a bit before defeating the samurai guy. I’m currently in the cathedral area looking for that ‘big hand’ shard? and key to open the door below the horse and carriage. There’s area with a dead end with that iron maiden too. Not sure how to get passed that.

The Iron Maiden is moved by using the Craftwork Shard. That is obtained by fighting the boss in the Cathedral. If you have not fought the creature yet, you will need to find it in the church.
Still way behind the times, on a PS3 & the RPi
Didn't feel like starting a new show, so booted up Skyrim to kill a few hours
Still need to figure out the PS1 setting on the Pi [Recalbox]. got the Dreamcast working well, but cannot figure out the PS1. Can't get the Recalbox to load roms from external storage either.
Debating wiping & trying Retropi instead of Recalbox.
I've recently discovered perhaps the most powerful weapon in the game...holy momma is it mowing through...everything. The Rhava Velar is insanity. GET IT.

Good to know. I’m guessing that boss is the floating one in the red outfit with a slasher near by. I die every time I try and fight it. I’ll level up a bit first and then slay the damn thing once for all haha. Thanks for the advice.

It's inside a big altar room. You can't miss it when you see all the church pews.
And yes, power up...there are benefits to tanking yourself. I'm Level 92 now.
But, that's more a byproduct of all the grinding I've been doing to acquire items/material/money...
Also, something worthwhile to start doing lots is get a friendly-enemy shard to help you. I really like the Dulhammer heads (floating heads)...the most versatile of the helpers...as you level it up, you'll gain 5 of them to float around you and attack enemies. The damage helps.
You'll also quickly figure out which spell is the best to have.

Got it! And I also defeated that damn floating red banshee too. Crafting some better armor and items really made a difference. It’s nice being able to get weapons/armor/items from the side missions too.

I’ll give that shard a try when I acquire it.
Oh, the red witch that curses you? Yeah, go after her a few times as she drops some "Tears" which you need for a few items. There's this one spot you can do some good farming where she's located at the top left portion of a tall room. If you kill her there, you'll go into a narrow hallway guarded by a lone dog-animal...just go back and forth between them...good place to quickly level up and get some of her Tears that she drops. FYI.
