I was reading that AC:U wasn't running well on the next gen but it was like a hearsay twitter post.

 

Runs great on PC, some hiccups on Xbox One, absolutely terrible on PS4.

 

Jesus and I thought this gen was supposed to be more developer friendly.

 

AC: Unity is also the first game developed independent of backing from Microsoft or Sony solely for the current-gen consoles.

Graphics look ridiculously amazing though, and the amount of NPCs that can populate the screen continuously as crowds is crazy. I think the problems can either be attributed to either Ubisoft wanting this game out now instead of having a longer QC time, or it just takes a lot longer/more effort to figure out the development kit of the X1 and PS4 without help from the console companies.

 

It seems all games arrive with a patch download requirement

 

It's what happens when you set unrealistic deadlines and then fail to deliver a complete game at the time of release.

 

i.e. Xmas season release. Thank God the new Arkham game got pushed as well as Metal Gear Phantom Pain. I prefer to wait.

 

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is on sale for $20 on Xbox One Deals With Gold.

VERY VERY tempted to get it.
Almost bought it when it was on sale for $30, but now it is lower.

I have Far Cry 4 paid for. Probably wont swing through GameStop until Thursday or Friday.

Only been playing about 20 minutes a day just to get the daily/weekly Destiny challenges done.

YES MGS:GZ!!!!!!!! It's short but it's awesome. The control has gotten so good and another great story. I hope you're caught up from Peace Walker though. Lots of new characters in that one that carried over.

Walking Dead season 2 is preetty good but 1 was much better IMO.

FYI Wolf Among Us episode 1 is free today on PS3/360.

 

Yeah, that's what I heard about Walking Dead season 2 so that's why I didn't jump on it right away.
And now that Telltale is doing like 50ty billion games, I hope they still can make games as good as Season 1.

Any of you folks play the Dragon Age series? What's it like? The reviews are in for the latest sequel and it's getting some great marks.

 

My cousin loves it but he's always been into Warcraft and Diablo. I tried the demo for one of them and it was nothing special but I'm not that type of gamer.

 

A friend of mine is obsessed with that game. Tried playing it with her but meh, I got too many games as is.

 

Halo MCC, hopefully it gets fully fixed with the patch today to relive some glory days!!!

 

What's wrong with it? Multiplayer matching is messed up?

 

I started playing Inquisition yesterday. I didn't play any of the previous Dragon Age games, but I was bored with Destiny and wanted to try something new. I loved the Mass Effect series, so I figured I would give Bioware another shot with Inquisition.

It is too early for me to say much about Inquisition. I've only logged about 3 hours. I would say it is a good to very good game, but I am not sure if it is a must buy yet. Kind of reminds me of the Elder Scrolls games, except not as polished. I already have a ton of side quests to work on. No wonder some reviews said that it takes 90 hours to finish.

Downloaded "Never Alone"...a nifty puzzler/platformer game. So far, it's a charming little game.

Played about 13 hours in one day

Will definitely get it eventually.

The multiplayer portion was extremely fun and there is no lag at all even though there were 8 people causing massive chaos with massive graphics and explosions everywhere all at the same time while in a giant open world.

Story was fun too. I didn't get to finish it, but the jokes and humor were both current and unexpected.

 

Going to get AC: Unity this week and then probably either Dragon Age: Inquisition, Sunset Overdrive, or Forza Horizon 2.

Can't decide :/

 

Did Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 4 last night. Had to make some hard decisions One more to go.

 

And finished Part 5. Season 3 will be pretty nuts. So many scenarios can occur at the end of Season 2, how many scripts will they write? A couple of deaths that can occur. It's nice that on YouTube someone posted the various possible endings.
