For those with a Wii
For those with a Wii
Lately, I am having a tougher and tougher time connecting to the online shop to purchase and download new games through the virtual console. I've verified that all of my wireless settings are correct but I keep getting Error Code: 051330
Has anyone else had problems connecting? I got my Wii about 2 weeks after it was released and it seems it keeps getting worse and worse.
Damnit, I want to download Super Metroid. I connected long enough to pay with points and start the download but it always times out.
I did update the system after about 10 tries.

Ok, I figured it out. I haven't had a few hours of spare time in a LONG TIME. Two kids will do that to you.
Anyways, I changed some settings on my wireless N router. I assigned it a network ID of 11 instead of automatic and changed my security level from WPA-2 TKIP to WPA AES. Even my X-box 360 connected. Too bad my year gold membership expired a few months back.
So, I was playing Super Metroid and I just picked up the ball. Too bad I can't figure out how to turn into it.

But IIRC all of the games have DRM that only allows them to be played on the Wii they were downloaded to. So the SD card just becomes a backup or extra storage. Can't put the game on an SD card and then take it over to a friend's house.
if the memory gets lost you can re download anything you downloaded for free once you buy it you can download it as many times as you want now if you WII explodes then your just assed out unless you can somehow prove what you bought
ashburner if memory serves me correctly i believe in order to morph into ball in supermetroid as in all previous ones you press down to duck then down again to morph
