You guys can always get New Names and start HS2 (Howard Stern 2)... Some one can HAVE elephant BOY, I have it reserved.

Then it really doesn't matter who plays on what team...but when I am signed in as Yucko, I try not to shoot my fellow HSS clan members...

I like HSS and playing with those guys because they ALL have mics/headsets and we can all hear eachother... as soon as an OUTSIDER is interjected into the game we have problems hearing 1 another and it pisses me off...

p.s. I am not the best player, you guys are just easy to shoot and kill...lol...

look out for Crack Head BOB, GARYtheRETARD, Stutterin JOHN, HOWARD STERN, ARTI, HANK, then ME.... Fred norris can be wicked and so can Beatlejuice....the rest of those are decent too... we have alot of fun rollin together...

Not to sell out ACL, but I much rather play with the HSS clan at night... I will play clan ACL afternoons, like I did yesterday..

I don't mind you playing with HSS. It just ups my ranking killing you guys I got my wings last night. Hopefully I'll keep mine longer than you did. I was up to 26,xxx last night.

I might actually take "elephant BOY" it'd be fun to play with a clan that knows what you all are doing. I noticed that each individual really isn't that great alone, but putting 4 or 5 of you guys together is like unstopable.

When you reach Admiral on single player you supposedly get the OICW and unlock Feral.

Always 3rd person when I'm running around. Sometimes you gotta switch to 1st person when you are looking through windows, etc.

The ranking system is HORSESHIT!

I had a few bad rounds the past 2 days. And by bad I mean ones where I had more deaths than kills, but like 8/9 or 6/7. Nothing drastic. The problem was every team I got on SUCKED! Nothing but Newbies! I went from 17,xxx to 75,xxx!!! What the hell!

I give up. To hell with SOCOM's ranking system

 

I agree.. I was on a team where 3 straight games we won 6-0 and the 4th I had MVP with a ton of points.. I dropped from 28,000 to 46,000... My stats are great but not my ranking..

 

on the socom forums there seems to be alot of suspicion that the ranking system has changed in the past few days.

it seemed before that everybody was a captain or whatever..


then all the sudden alot of people got wings... and alot of people dropped down as far as ensign. makes no sense...

 

I got this game, but have been playing my xbox online games lately only. maybe ill start playin socom 2 again.

 

ah... i just read on anohter site that it was already pre planned that on Jan 1st they were changing the ranking system and resetting everyones rank

 

Thats what i always thought.

I'm holding my own as a Lt. Cmdr. but if i was to drop down to an Ensign i wouldn't care. I always play in the US East rooms anyway.

 

My rank was never "reset" though. I was always consistantly in the 25,xxx to 15,xxx. Now I'm around 75,xxx. My brother hasn't played the game for almost 2 weeks. His rank only changed 5,xxx. I think the system is just too complicated and there are too many players for the ranking system to keep track of it all.

 

Ok i just bought the game today,

So for online i need and adapter and a headset i guess.

Give me a week and i'll be joining you feelas, any suggestion on cheapest place to aquire the equipment?

FYI, when you shoot the guys who HAVE WINGS.. (the Captains), your ranking jumps SKY high!!!!!.. I was 35,xxx something.. played against a couple of captains, shot a few, but still lost the game... I jumped to 22,xxx and got my CAPTAIN status...LOL..

 

I am beyond furious with the ranking system. I played with my brother's clan last night against another clan. I whopped ass on the 1st two maps. MVP both times. Second map not as good but I dropped from 75,xxx to 99,xxx.

 

who cares about ranking anyway


other than my icon, i never look at my actual numerical ranking.


would be nice to not drop to a butter bar occasionally though.
