Ok, you seem to have the links to find the info.. So the question is What are the bonus objectives...? I always check my stats hoping someday I'll run into it somehow but never seem to find anything..

 

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm bonus objectives would be shit like breaching the perimeter, blowing the wall in desert glory... pretty much any action that isnt a KILL or the PRIMARY objective (escort, demolition, etc)

 

the tower in sandstorm.... bonus objective..... the anti aircraft gun in sandstorm..... bonus......

 

oh but EVERY WALL isnt a bonus. the walls are bonus on breach.... but on maps like.... i dunno... Vigilance... you dont get bonus objectives for blowing gates

 

and on SUJO, only the INSIDE walls are bonus... the outside walls/gates arent.

 

I'll have to check but I've done a few of them and don't think it shows on my stats..

another bonus would be KILLING someone with an Airstrike.

There is a bug in the ranking system that makes it so it will only show your bonus objectives from the last map you played.

 

You da man...! That explains it... Do you have or have found a list that breaks down how the ranking system works ?

 

iive found a thousand `official rank guide` shits.

but really i think most are fairly clueless...


the best theory i have is that the biggest factor is the rank of people you play against... as i said earlier.

ive been sticking to that mantra for several days now and look where it got me.......

 

Other then playing against HSS and stealing our wings.. The "cookie" covers such a wide range of ranks that it's hard to determine who you are playing against..

 

yes thats true, but the odds are most cookies are decent players...

none of us are extraordinary..... so anyone who is decent is a worthy matchup

Come on now.. Ur going a little xtreme on that one.. Kinda funny though.. I know HSS needs to focus alot alot more on teamwork when playing b/c everyone is out doing they're own thing and now that I think about it, it may also be me doing it..

i wish man. they were sweet as hell. creaping around sniping people but in what seemed to be a real situation. ill just keep playing and hope they come back.

 

i dont think its so extreme. maybe add another cookie to the mix at most...

if it wasnt so extreme your rank would be improving! lol


and yea you guys dont do shit for teamwork. actually... smitty is pretty good with working as a team.

whenever him and i play on escort maps together we seem to do decent...

Yea, Socom dreams are crazy...!

When it's me, smitty and couple of the other regulars we do ok but when other people get in it throws are whole plan off...!

its because you refuse to even teams up.

on average its 4 a-cl people at most, usually me, ted, & silver... sometimes berner and ferizzo.

me and silver are the only ones with good ranks..... not saying the rest of them arent good... but their ranks arent there yet.


so you get 2 good ranks, 2 mid range ranks, and then luck of the draw with whoever comes in the game..... it tends to be ensigns and shit.

so it gives us a huge scoring handicap...


all you guys would have to do is mix the teams up. its always `i dont wanna bring your rank down` to each other...... meanwhile doing what your doing is doing exactly that. lol

 

anyway i think i made my point with the ranking system.


shit i think my 9000 made its point!


isnt it interesting how much my score jumped as soon as i stopped worrying about being on the SAME SIDE as you guys? lol


whatever. i like playin with the ACL guys... we play well as a team. i always have back up...

im rarely ALONE with the satchel when other ACL guys are on...


had a TON of fun last night when we were playing Desert Glory and Blizzard. lot of teamwork involved was great

it isnt a odd coincidence. its because everything ive stated is true... thats the way it works... and thats why i have a steadily improving score
