no matter what i did yesterday i couldnt get my score to go anywhere but down... er up.

earlier in the day when we played with HSS i had some good games

till those fucking glitchers came and took all our wings.


ah well. think im at like 39k right now........ barely hanging on.

Do you guys lay down when sniping or just crouch? 9 out of 10 times I crouch if I'm not visible.

 

i crouch cuz i find it awfully hard to look round when proned.

also when other snipers are out there you cant strafe out of the way...

and ive been mastering the IW80 snipe..... so if someone is on the ground with a sniper rifle within my range ... he == owned. LOL

if their crouching its at least likely ill just hit em with a body shot and they can strafe out the way.

 

i had like 6 or 7 IW80 snipe kills on Enowapi last night. yall wouldnt stop throwing them damn grenades off that ledge.

then some guy thought he could outsnipe me from up there :shakehd:

i just been in a bad mood... and glitchers yesterday got me off to a bad start. short temper.

by the time we got to Mixer i started poppin the Heinekens so i was all good by a round or two after you were imming me "PROTECT THE FUCKIN HOSTAGES"

plus i was mad at myself for opening my mouth while hank was on my team. forgot he was there.

The SOCOM II Ladder is just an indexing of every player's Score (i.e. the

LT. COMMANDER = The Next 25% of Players
LIEUTENANT = The Next 55% of Players
ENSIGN = The Remaining 15% of Players

The first time you play SOCOM II online you start with 1000 points. If the
highest ranked Ensign does not have 1,000 points, you would be ranked as a
Lieutenant before you even played a Round. Even though you have yet to
accumulate any statistics, you would have a better ranking than many players
that have been playing SOCOM II online because they may have lost games
and died a lot while you have not.

The primary means to improve your Score is by winning Games (not Rounds, full
Games). In almost all cases, if you win a Game your score will go up and if
you lose a Game your score will go down. The following factors will effect
how large or small your score will move in any single game:

Relative Strength of the Teams: The Scores of members of your team are
compared
against the Scores of the opponent's team to determine who is 'expected' to
win.
Winning against stronger teams will increase your Score faster while winning
against weaker teams will increase your Score much slower.

Number of Players in the Game: Full 16-player Games have larger Score moves
than say an 8-player Game.

Number of Rounds won by losing team: If you win by a sweep (i.e. winning the
first 6 Rounds in a best of 11 Game), your Score will go up more than if you
just won by one Round (i.e. winning 6 Rounds and losing 5 Rounds in a best
of 11 Game).

Individual Performance: Doing more to contribute to the victory like getting
more Kills, having less Deaths, rescuing Hostages, creating Breaches,
destroying Bases, etc. will result in a larger personal Score increase.

That's some real good info....! I still am not sure how playing last night jumped me from 32,000 to 12,000... Most teams were fair and I had the same stats as usual.. And I think 4 out of 5 MVP's but nothin more then usual stat wise..

 

No wonder it's all screwed up.. Can anyone translate that info..! I'm sure SCII has a model of that system but there is no way that system is in place.

 

Yea, Ted and Silver are frustrating.. Ted must finally be learning the maps or something..

 

I'm shooting for a top three spot right now but I got a little bit to go before getting there. I am finally starting to get better but still overall am only so-so. gotta keep playing though.

 

silver and that fucking M14 man. i fear him like 100000 times more than i fear you..... LOL


i think its just the choice of guns. cuz i think your better than both of us... but you and i use same types of guns usually... fast assault rifles with 30 shells.


but fucking silver... that m14 man. that thing seems to expend its whole clip and waste me before ive begun to shoot.

and whats frustrating most is hes good with it.


when i use that gun i just spray everywhere cuz i cant handle the recoil. lol

i was so mad on death trap yesterday. but it was nothing like when it was me and phil against silver and ted on blizzard.

I'm getting on it now.

 

Man I love playing with Ted.. He keeps a distance from me, probably b/c I move fast sometimes and then when I'm in trouble I don't know it but he's right there saving me. It's great.. I swear me and him could take like 4-5 people. I run around like a chicken with it's head cut off and Ted saves me..

Easiest kills you'll get.. Except now when I play with you, you take all my good grenading spots and my kills.. Focker...

What did you use before though ? You probably had them but didn't use them unless you had to.. And the whole time you could've been getting kills..

I just throw them were it's high traffic areas to try and get a few (soopa) or back them off...
