I really want to buy a PS3. So I was thinking that I should trade in my original XBOX and games and use that money towards a PS3. When I first got my XBOX, my cousin decided to mod it himself for free without my permission. I have this thing sitting in my closet for a couple of years now, and I would like to sell it but I can't since it is modded. Is there any way of removing the mod chip so I can sell this thing? I don't know if its soldered to motherboard or anything. There is a wire coming out of the front vent with an LED attached to it.

 

you're not gonna get much trading it in, maybe $50 tops with games.
you're better off selling it to someone you know that doesn't have alot of money and wants free games.

 

Sell it on craigslist. You'll get more money since its molded. If I had the cash I would take it off ya.
