Question Psychonauts

Anyone seen the commercial for this game on Xbox?

Looks interesting but I have found any reviews or release date info on it yet.

Anyone got any opinions on it?

I rented it not too long ago.. Very cool and creative game. It's from Tim Schafer who is one of my favorite producers in the industry.

I didn't buy it because I'm not a huge fan of platformers, but it's an excellent game. It has gotten excellent scores across the board, so it's definitely worth checking out.

Gamerankings is a great place to see ratings from everywhere for a single site:

It has an average of 91% which is excellent. 15th best ranked Xbox game and 98th best rated game of all time (all platforms)

Oh, cool. I didnt realize Tim Schafer is the dude from Lucasarts who made Full Throttle and Grim Fandango among others... I love those games...awesome sense of style and gameplay.

It came out not too long ago.. Probably 2 months or so. Games lately get discounted pretty quickly

This game is really fun and addicting.

This is what I've been wanting in a video game for ahile now. Quirky, good story, nice graphics. I hope Tim Schafer is developing more games like this for near future release.
Its bright and colorful. I like Halo as much as the next guy, I was just tired of "serious" video games with realistic/drab color schemes.

Money well spent.

Great to hear it... I knew you wouldn't be disappointed. It's a shame the game has not sold well, but it's nice to see new, really creative and fun to play games instead of the usual run of the mill crap and 10,000 sequels that are forced upon us lately.

I finished playing the lungfish level That was some BRILLIANT humor and clever level design right there. Those viva la resitance fish had me cracking up. And the you being a godzilla type character was awesome.

If I wasnt on location filming right now, I'd still be playing

BEAT IT

Made a goal to finish before I jumped on a plane tomorrow morning and I did

Fucking was getting frustrating at the end, definately good for a challenge.

Definately one of the best overall games to come out in a long time. This things encompasses so many different genres...awesome.

I might have put a total of an hour into it. It's alright...I'm not a big fan of this style of game but I can see how people could really like this game.

Waiting on Burnout Revenge now.
