Has anyone else experienced this with their PS3. I just got if for Christmas and it has probably less the 10 hours on it. I replaced the cable and still a no go. I wonder if I can get an even exchange on it from BB?

Doesn't Best Buy have a 90-day limited warranty? Find the receipt and check...Otherwise, call Sony.

 

Called bb and they will exchange since my fiance bought the 2 year plan. Only think that sucks is I have an 80gig and they only have 40gig since they said sony does not make the 80 anymore. Also I loose my saved info on the system. Kinda po'd about the whole thing.

Warranty it through sony then, you got the 80GB model that [other than the hdd size] is different than the 40gb; if bestbuy cannot find you an 80gb version then maybe they can get you the 120gb version [.. I don't think sony would drop to a single model 40gb only and not replace the "highline" model]
